A 2002 graduate of Will C. Wood High School, Bush went on to play nine seasons in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers. He served as a team captain from 2010 through 2014 and was a member of the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV championship team, recording an interception in the victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At Wood, Bush was a standout multi-sport athlete. In track and field, he captured Sac-Joaquin Section titles in both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. He continued his athletic and academic career at Utah State University, where he competed in both football and track and earned All-Conference honors in football in 2005.
