Bill Ewing is honored for his exceptional leadership and service to Will C. Wood High School as a coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and mentor.

As head track and field coach for seven years, Ewing led his teams to three Monticello Empire League championships, including two undefeated seasons in a highly competitive league. One of his teams also captured a Sac-Joaquin Section Division II championship. During his tenure, he coached one state champion, three CIF medalists, and seven section champions.

Ewing also played a significant leadership role beyond Wood, directing the Sac-Joaquin Section track and field sub-section and section meets for 13 years—an honor reflecting his expertise and commitment to the sport.
