Kent Puddy is recognized for his extensive contributions to the development and maintenance of Will C. Wood’s softball facilities and athletic programs. He played a pivotal role in designing and constructing the softball batting cages and pitching areas, while also leading fundraising efforts for field improvements, including fencing and concrete work.

For 26 years, he dedicated himself to the upkeep of the softball fields. In addition, Puddy served in multiple coaching roles across basketball, volleyball, and softball at various levels, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to student-athletes and the Wildcat community.
